The Founders Story

I’m Sam Ackland, Father of three, entrepreneur, advisor, and builder of real businesses. I’ve scaled and exited trade companies, led teams across the country, and developed the systems that allow owners to step out of the day-to-day and build something that lasts. From my early days on the tools to founding Build Clean and replacing myself by 2023, every step has sharpened my ability to simplify complexity, drive growth, and create legacy. It’s not just about money for me.

Today, I work with ambitious trade business owners who are ready to think like Managing Directors, not just operators. I say ambitious because we focus on growing into our best self, only dead fish go with the flow. In our programs, I share the exact strategies, structures, and mindset shifts that took me from backyard business to boardroom leadership. My mission is simple: to help good men build great companies… and more importantly, live a life their kids will be proud of.
